Community commitment

Belonging is the whole point.

A home is the most personal place there is. Everyone who books or hosts on OpenLofts deserves to be treated with dignity — no exceptions, no asterisks.

01

The commitment

Every member of OpenLofts agrees to one simple thing: to treat everyone in the community — regardless of race, religion, national origin, ethnicity, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or age — with respect, and without judgment or bias.

It is not a slogan. It is a condition of being here. Hosts who decline guests for who they are, and guests who treat hosts or homes with prejudice, lose access to the platform.

02

What we expect

01

Inclusion

Welcome guests on the same terms you would offer anyone — same prices, same rules, same warmth.

02

Fairness

Decisions about a booking are about the stay, never about a person's identity.

03

Respect

Communicate honestly and kindly, before, during, and after every stay.

Questions, answered

What happens if a host discriminates?+

We investigate every report. Confirmed violations lead to warnings, suspension, or permanent removal from OpenLofts.

Can a host set house rules?+

Yes — reasonable rules about the home are welcome. Rules that single out a protected group are not.

How do I report a problem?+

Open the reservation or listing, contact support, and tell us what happened. Reports are confidential.

See something that doesn't belong here?

Report it to our support team. We read every message and act on what we find.
