Your privacy, in plain words.

This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have. We've tried to write it like a human, because you're one.

01

What we collect

Information you give us: your name, email, phone, profile details, and the content of messages and reviews you write.

Information from using OpenLofts: the homes you view, search, and save; bookings you make; and device and log data that keeps the service secure.

Payment details are handled by our payment partners. We never see or store your full card number.

02

How we use it

To run the core service — confirming bookings, connecting guests and hosts, and processing payouts.

To personalise your experience, such as recommending homes based on what you look at and like.

To keep the community safe: detecting fraud, enforcing our policies, and meeting legal obligations.

03

Your choices

  • Access and update your information any time in Account.
  • Control notifications and marketing in Account → Notifications.
  • Request a copy of your data, or ask us to delete it, through the Help Center.
  • Opt out of personalised recommendations without losing access to the service.
04

Sharing & retention

We share only what's necessary: with hosts or guests to complete a stay, with service providers under contract, and where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.

We keep data for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, and safety purposes, then delete or anonymise it.

Do you sell my data?+

No. We never sell your personal information to third parties.

How do I delete my account?+

Contact support through the Help Center and we'll guide you through deletion and what it affects.

Who can I contact about privacy?+

Reach our team via the Help Center; privacy requests are handled with priority.
